Gulp of air....
Just curious, I have had my 1LE for about a month, I never really noticed but a frend of mine was asking if the sound of the car sucking in air is normal when lightly reving the engine... I had heard it before and thought is was normal, so I thought I would ask you guys... he was thinking is almost sounded like a leak.. but I thought it is fine. Does anyone know what I am talking about...I don't really know how else to describe it.. it sounds a little like older cars that we would turn the air cleaner cover upside down on.. (old guys will remember that.. HA HA)

I haven't really noticed that. I keep the exhaust open and just listen to that and I'm always on the dang phone... It does have a sound tube that is suppose to enhance that sound, so maybe that's what your hearing. I will keep an ear out today for it. I wouldn't worry too much about it being an issue. Leaks =CEL.

Yes, the LT1 will give a little bit of intake sound at low speed throttle tip in when the blade in the throttle body starts to open. Its normal - at least it is on mine for the 7800 miles I've driven it.

There is a sound tube from the intake to the fire wall that amplifies the sound you hear. After market cai like roto fab offer a sound tube delete for a cleaner install. Less junk under hood...

Is it odd that I like the sound? Am I wrong for that? How do I live with myself? Sound tube delete incoming. I'm sick man, like in the head.
