Uneven exhaust residue

Noticed something that seemed odd to me. The residue on the quad tips wasn't even.

I imagine it has all to do with the driving mode selected.

Thoughts?

Totally normal. All 4 ports aren't always open depending on the mode and situation.

My advice to keep them both clean is to buy some heavy metal polish like this.

Using this as the example then only the outer tips will have soot on them. My inner tips are clean but the outers always have exhaust soot on them.

The right exhaust tip isn't working. Take it into the dealership now. Your car is about to fall apart.

This has been happening ever since C6 Corvette. Polish your tips with a good metal polish and they'll look a lot better.

Make a tool you already own , do all the work. Your cordless drill & a Meguires power cone.... At any auto parts store ....best 15 bucks you ever spent, get any metal polish with it. Does the job in 30 seconds… and better than what you can do by hand
