sun roof, no sun roof?
what do you think looks better on a ZL1, sun roof or no sun roof?

From the outside, no sunroof.
From the inside, sunroof. They don't look bad on the outside with the roof open either.

Naturday's answer is a good one. Keep in mind getting a sunroof reduces headroom. May not be an issue for you, but it is for me.

If I were purchasing I would go with a sunroof...My current car doesn't have one (wish it did) but there nice when you're just out cruising...

No sunroof hands down. The double hump shape on the no sunroof top looks much better. And the open roof on Camaros looks stupid to me, protruding off the back of the roof.

Personal preference my friend...I personally like the natural light coming in not to mention the fresh air I can get from the sunroof.

I'm 6'2" and would never have fit with the sunroof. I took an SS for a test drive prior to ordering my ZL1 and had to have my head in the sunroof cutout tilted over to drive

I'm 6’1 and fit fine with the roof, always cracks me up when the racers here get so visceral when dissing the roof. Who cares?, I enjoy the fresh air and the view.....

I seldom if ever look at the roofline of the car cause I'm looking at the profile of the car. For the serious track folks or those who won't fit with helmet on or don't like the look, I say don't order a sunroof. If you seldom track, can fit with helmet and think the benefits of a sunroof outweigh the roofline change, I say go with the sunroof. I had the sunroof open near daily for 9 months of the year I drove my 13 1LE, was quiet and extremely enjoyable. If I'm going to spend the kind of coin for a ZL1 for what I use the car for, I would get a ZL1 with a sunroof. Removal Targa top option to keep Mohawk look would be pretty neat but the simplicity of pressing a button to see the beautiful sky in seconds is hard to beat.

No sunroof, IMO it kills the lines of the car, If you want fresh air get an convertible. Plus I do agree with those that talk about the head room.

I really wanted a sunroof as well, but i hate it when the lowered roof line rubs the top of my hair.
