Better question is how many built vs how many people wanted one.

I would dare say only 60-75% of people who wanted one with cash in hand will get one for 2017 MY ... Very limited car... Lol

That's a very optimistic number. From reading there's almost 100 cars on lots across the country unsold. Odds of matching them to a buyer seem slim. Not everyone can afford to transport a car across several states. With only 5 ordering cycles since launch my guess is roughly 100-160 cars per cycle. I say under 1000 for the whole model year. At least 10 percent of which were never built with a specific buyer in mind.

All I know are 6 dealers around me with some deposits as high as 7 customers per dealer. That's over 40+ cars

Cash on the table wanting a 2017 zl1 and dealer can't get allocation.

That to me is a limited production car ... I don't care what people say ...

A non limited production vehicle is one where you walk into a dealership , sit down with a rep, build your car and 6-10 weeks later it arrives at dealership and you pick it up. Amen

So in essence the original quote we will build as many as we can sell should have been we will build as many as we can produce ... ?

Any idea where Chevy publishes this info? I know people track how many Camaro sold, so i would think there is a way to know how many ZL1 built

Al never said they would all be 2017s. So to me that meant that all orders will be filled. Not necesarily in one model year though. If you know big corporations they never give an exact answer to anything. That way it doesn't comes back to bite them in the ass later.

Hopefully they don't do a price increase on the msrp or options. The a10 option definitely seems like a place they would raise the price.

Send a message via AIM to Mr. Wyndham
Final production numbers are usually available several months after they wrap up the model year. And even then, it requires someone in the company with access to the data to have the time and willingness to compile it for sharing.

I don't believe they publish or share individual model production as it goes on.
