Adding LT4 Fuel system to my Magnuson?

I currently run a Magnuson with a Rotofab on the supplied tune from Magnuson. Ive been thinking about adding the LT4 HPFP and Injectors, swapping the pulley and getting it retuned. Is this the best way to go about this? Can I expect 600-620rwhp?

If I add those fuel system parts, will I be able to drive it to my tuner at low rpm/speed?

I look forward to the response to this thread as well. My local shop told me how to get to 600-650 to the wheels safely with a Whipple install and it would be a cam with 32% fuel lobe and lash cap because of the fuel wall on the LT1. When I mentioned the LT4 conversion they told me you can't forget the LPFP in the tank because doing just the HPFP and Injectors were only part of the problem and leaving out the LPFP would still limit your fuel.

(edited)I did see where someone replaced the LPFP with the LT4 one and they cut a hole behind the rear seat to gain access to it. Also a gentleman that goes by Lethal Camaro is in the process of trying out a new fuel system that is being built for the Gen 6. Just youtube Lethal Camaro for his videos if you haven't already seen them.

Totally forgot to mention that I am going meth initially to get me past the fuel wall.

I've read in the forums when doing an install of the Maggie style S/C to add the LT4 HPFP since it sits in that area. You have to remove the Maggie to get to the pump if you do it later. Without the low side, what are you really gaining by adding just part of this fuel system anyway? How are these chargers working on 16's without any fuel upgrades?

Can only speak from my personal experience.

2016 Camaro SS A8, mods are Maggie, Rotofab, Borla Cat Back.
  • Stock Fuel System, 91 octane - 550 RWHP - 98mm pulley
  • Stock Fuel System, 50% mix 91/MS109 - 612 RWHP - 90mm pulley
  • Stock LT1 Injectors, Lingenfelter Big Bore HPDI pump, 91 octane + 70%water/30%meth injection - 620 RWHP - 85mm pulley
  • Stock LT1 Injectors, Lingenfelter Big Bore HPDI pump, MS109 + 50%water/50%meth injection - 688 RWHP - 80mm pulley
  • LT4 Injectors, Lingenfelter Big Bore HPDI pump, ZL1 in-tank pump, MS109 + 70%water/30%meth injection - 694 RWHP - 75mm pulley - need belt

And that's where I left it last Saturday, didn't have the right size belt to go with a smaller pulley, so picked one up in Sunday and will be looking for more power later this week.
It also might be time to consider adding some more exhaust components. I'm not looking to lose the stock cats, but I may add the shorty headers I bought a couple months back to see if they have any benefit.

No E85 experience?

Would like to do the same thing on E85 minus the meth hassle and worries!

Looking forward to your results as I want to do the LT4 upgrade to my SS and seems the fuel may be limited to 600rwhp with stock fueling system...

I went with lt4 in tank pump, lt4 injectors, and lt4 hpfp on my build (which is still underway). Mine will be somewhere between 710-750 to the ground so until it's completed (one day) I won't really know. I can say though that on 93 pump I'm going to be tapped out. I don't want to run E, or meth although I know it opens up more advantages. I am going with a 93 tune bc I drive my car cross country and it is my dd and I don't want the hassle of looking for E or running out of meth.

Excellent info! I know you said shorties but here is an interesting article on Long Tube Kooks to the stock NPP but using the HF cats instead of the green cats that they mention. It was suggested for my build.

so to further digress on the identical subject, if I added a rotofab (advise on ether wet or dry) with the stock tune from Maggie, what type of HP should I end up with? and what HP rating are you guys ending up with, with the standard Maggie w/Maggie tune/intercooler kits. I apologies if this would consider a thread jack, but maybe to further digress on the above questions.
