Policy change on ported IM/TB units

EFI Tuning LLC will no longer be working under the core exchange model for ported intake manifold and/or throttle body units. We realize this may be an inconvenience for some but the model has proven to be a significant limiter in keeping up with demand.

The following options will be available moving forward...

1. Send us your existing units for porting / receive your existing units back after porting (no upfront core funds involved)

2. You acquure units and supply them for porting (no upfront core funds involved)

3. EFI Tuning acquires units and sends out after porting (customer charged for items at the time of purchase)

Awww man that sucks...so what does the turn around time look like. Mine is my daily driver and this could be a problemo...

Turning them around is relatively quick. I won't guarantee turn around time but 2-3 days is average once we actually have units in hand.

Ouch that kind of sucks. Now it puts the intake into the MSD price range option for me. I understand you gotta do what you gotta do though.

Dang I was going to do the core charge because mines a daily driver. Guess it's time to look into buying a extra IM/TB for porting.

I can knock out an IM/TB combo in a night but it is one very long night. M-F I do an IM or TB a night every night when I have them. I have other projects going on as well that I must attend to. On the weekends I can do 3-4 full sets. I will however never rush anyone's product through to make a buck. I will only move as fast as my standards will allow me. I hope that helps you guys out on your timing. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Calculating shipping time, looks like my car could be down @1-2 weeks. Not terrible if it wasn't my source of transportation. May have to buy a new set and hope my take off set sells...
