Does the installation require the removal of the front fascia (like when installing the SEMA grille)?

Yes, the front bumper does have to be removed to install the grill. Just like the SEMA grill.

Is the flowtie detachable and re-attachable? For example for painting if you wanted to do that.

I dont have a picture of the back side but I know the bowtie is held on with plastic rivets that are melted down. So removing the bowtie would be a little trick to paint it. You can tape off the grill and paint the bowtie while its on the grill but getting the bowtie off would be a challenge.
