2 lt Leather seats for 1 lt ?

Hey guys

Wondering how to get 2lt leather seats for 1lt model ?
My seats are good but leather seats looks amazing compare to cloth trim. I asked my dealer (gateway Brampton), They said i cant order it and i found bunch of available from USA but not sure if warranty going to be voided because of the air bags etc. IF any one upgraded their seats in past or know how to get gm seats please let know.

Ps: Just because of looks and feel i want to upgrade else i have no issue with current one.

If it is the same seat . Which I think they are...order 2 seat covers from your dealership. My cloth seat cover had a flaw in it and they changed the seat cover. No doubt if I wanted to pay the up charge for the leather seats cover they would have thrown them on.

Hey Tej.

You can definitely get leather for a 1LT. I just ordered my first Camaro. A 1LS, V6 M6 with NPP and cloth seats, and I plan to do just that.

Check out Katskin.com (a US company) or canadaseatskins.ca. Both will allow you to order whatever seat design you like and both ship to a certified shop that does the installation for you. I get the impression that this isn't the best DIY job and professional work is needed to install it properly.

Likely somewhere between $1600-$2000. As I understand it, they are often the same companies dealers use themselves and the quality should be the same as a factory ordered leather like the 2LT.

I can't see how it will affect your airbags in any way and it doesn't void your warranty. Unless the warranty covered flaws in your cloth, which is obvious.

Hope that helps.

I bought Katskins from canadaseatskins for my GMC Sierra back in 2009 and installed the rear and centre front seat myself. I had to have an upholstery shop do the 2 front seats as I wasn't comfortable doing those since I also had them add heaters to them. Definitely worth every penny and they are as good as new today (it's my daily driver). I definitely would recommend them.

Good to hear Max! Your point about good longevity was a big question of mine. And kudos for doing the backsteats.
