What Is Your Max Mileage Out A Tank Of Fuel? (6th Gen)
Just looking to see where everyone has been maxing out on a full tank of fuel.
Indicate Auto or Manual and mileage. I have an Auto and topped out at 376 but still had a little over 3 gallons left today. Mostly city driving but some highway earlier today. It seems these cars are really good on fuel considering the engine size. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Bwah, I've hit 590 before and 630 one time that I felt like driving like a grandma. When I filled up that time my car took 19.34 gallons of gas. Yes, our tanks are 19 gallons. No kidding.
Obviously this is exceptional. On a per tank average I probably get just under 400? 2.0T auto

I drove from Charlotte, NC to Daytona, FL on one tank. Wound up being about 485 miles. Put in about 18.1 gallons in Daytona. Figured I had a little over a gallon left. Probably averaged around 80mph most of the way. A8 2SS.

300 miles to the beach and back. Still had a quarter tank.
 I usually fill up when it gets close to a half tank. Usually runs about $22. for a half tank of 93 octane.

I think I maxed it out on the bottom end of the spectrum. This was a fun day
 But generally I'll get about 350-375 miles on a tank. A8 |

On average, I max out at just under 400 miles a tank; my best being 420 miles. I usually fill up before the gas light comes on (once a week). Mostly city driving, with some highway. M6.
