Non npp to quad tip conversion exhaust options

My Camaro is a non npp from the factory. I already ordered the quad tip rear fascia and now I'm exploring either cat back or axleback quad tip options.
What's out there and what are your thoughts on each?
Video sound clips would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I saw that Borla makes some quad tip stuff without the NPP valves, not sure if I've seen any others though. I would think that any system with valves could just be locked into the open position by either a custom bracket or some welding if they don't hold themselves open on their own. The factory NPP system is open by default, but not sure if it's springs on the exhaust or the actuator itself that keep the valves open.

I'm also wanting to develop something like that for my car with MRT, just because I like the look of the quad tips better than dual tips. Probably wouldn't happen until this spring when I pull my car out of storage for the winter, though. How soon were you looking to install?

Well, the whole idea was to find a system without the valves to save some cash. In not in a huge rush but will do it once I find a system I like. I still have to have the fascia painted and installed as well

I am ordering Borla Atak on Monday. The non npp version is substantially cheaper than the npp (1,076.99 vs. 1,600.99 from one vendor).

I had the Borla ATAK cat-back on my ZL1 and it was awesome. Loud though, not for the faint of heart... or ear drums.

How does the quad tip bumper fascia come btw? Do they need to be painted or are they that black bumpy/textured plastic?

never mind... I found it in another thread.... smooth, primed... just another step to get to quad tips...

It must be vacuum that closes them.

Its springs that keep it open.

I have the Corsa Extreme axle back on my car, haven't had any second thoughts. Sounds beastly, highly recommend them. Here's a cold start, idle, and revs!

Yes, to confirm, the only available part through GM service at the moment for the quad tip rear fascia on the SS is 23404791, comes primer only ready to paint. If it was installed by a dealer, there's a chance that they painted it for you to match the gloss black that comes from the factory. There are 2 different levels of gloss available, so this lets the dealers match whichever gloss you had before when being used as a replacement. Can't order the painted part directly through GM's service department that I know of.

You can just cut the diffuser for quad. All Camaro ss in South Korea have non-npp system but many owners put quad exhaust with diffuser cuttings!
