Given enough time, virtually anything becomes collectable.

I would think the 2014-15 Z28 would of been on that list.

I wonder if that means they will insure it as a collectable? I have enough cars in the stable to qualify for their coverage (a couple already covered by Hagerty) and it would be great to get their coverage at what would probably be a significant discount over my primary carrier.
Worth checking into

What will a ZL1 be worth 50 years from now when 91/93 octane gasoline hasn't been refined in 25 years.

Why use Hargerty? The ZL1 is already considered a collectible, even the regular SS is too. I use Classic Auto Insurance for mine and my premium is lower than my daily driver truck. Agreed value too, with a 2% appreciation per year the policy is held. I tried Hagerty years ago with my 67 and they wanted nothing but to screw me, I don't know why they're making a big deal now that they're considering the new ZL1 when other carriers already are.

"The 2017 Camaro ZL1 has a stat sheet that would make last year’s Corvette nervous..." Seeing this quote makes me giggle. To see how far these 'Big, heavy, good ol American muscle' car have come AND how they now are stepping into the realm of supercars. Its amazing.

Yeah if you can brew your own fuel for it. There will likely be fuel cells that might need substrate once every 3 or 4 years at that point. These technologies are advancing in an exponential fashion. Petrochemical distillate powered internal combustion engines will be ancient history in 50 years.

I'm sure we will all be 30 years into our dirt nap before that will happen.
