X pipe on L99
Any one swap out the stock center resonator on an L99 with an X pipe and keep the rest of the exhaust stock?
Hows it drive and sound? Thanks |

Sounds like you want drone when the engine goes into AFM. The resonators are there to work with the mufflers, and stop it from droning in 4 cylinder mode. Remove them, and you will have drone. You can stop it from going into AFM by getting something like a diablo tuner that has the option to turn it off. Then the X-pipe would sound better.
