Dealer just called with A10 allocation

Ok I know this has been a much discussed topic and February is when we are supposed to be able to get the second round of A10s picked up. It was also mentioned that dealers would know a few days beforehand what they were actually being allocated. I just got a call from a dealer telling me he just got an A10 allocation. So my question is... Is this legit?

Isn't A10 option available for any ZL1 order in phase 2 or does it have to be specifically A10 equipped?

You can't pick which one you want. I believe the allocation is dedicated to each transmission type specifically. It's not an allocation for a ZL1 to build it however one chooses. At least this is my understanding. My order has been in since November last year and I didn't make the cut to have my A10 order picked up because they only got allocations for manuals.

My understanding is dealers already knew how many total allocations they had for the ZL1 for all of 17, but were not tranny specific.

Last month My dealers told me they had 3 of which they have received one M6...I was told they talked to GM & would know on Jan 19th if they would get an A10 release, which they did not. I will still check with Becky come the 6th but suspect I will still be at 1100 status. I 'hope' to have them get their release later in Feb & go 2000 on March 9.

Again, all hearsay from my particular dealer...supposedly certain Thursdays of every month are when they get their release for allocations & also seems to be when we get updates on Workbench status.

I was also told that I had to order an A10 when I talked to my dealer, which was what I wanted anyway. I've heard others say similar things as well, so the allocations are apparently tied to certain transmissions just like they are between a coupe or convertible.

Since the DOSP cycle for ZL1's is next week, dealers may know this week what aloocations they are getting....... but Becky would know for sure.....

Some A10 ZL1's are hitting 3000 early..... So it sounds good!!

Becky has confirmed her order went 3000......
