New owner question...
How do I know whether or not I have the NPP exhaust of my 2016 Camaro ss? Its a 1ss if that helps. Sorry if it seems like a dumb question.

Do you have 2 exhaust tips or 4? 4 is NPP.

As said above, quad tips. Windows sticker should also specify options.

On the 1SS and 2SS the NPP is still optional I think....

Thanks guys! I have quad tips and I was looking into getting headers but I don't want the NPP exhaust so I have to figure out my options.

NPP sounds great with headers. Here's mine with heads, cam, and full bolt ons into the NPP muffler.

If I get LT headers and wanna bypass the NPP set up could I just connect the LT's to a x pipe then to the NPP system and pull the fuse?

I think so. I have considered pulling my fuse but cold starts are LOUD. I usually put the car in stealth mode if I'm starting it early in the morning, out of mercy for my neighbors. I LOVE having the ability to control my noise level. Just my .02.

Pulling the fuse will leave the NPP open all the time, that's what I did. So it won't close up at cruise speeds. Stainless Works long tubes come with the x-pipe you mention, mine go all the way back to the NPP muffler. You're not bypassing the NPP exactly, but instead just using it for the loud setting and disabling the valves so it STAYS in loud mode. In my opinion, keep the NPP and get the Stainless Works headers, pull the NPP fuse and enjoy. If you swap NPP for another exhaust, you're just spending extra money when it isn't necessary.

No matter what mode you're in, it starts with the valve open. NPP wont quiet down your starts, stealth mode or not.

Negative. Starting in stealth, they are closed. Know this for a fact. All other modes start open.
