Dealer can't create an order for convertible
I went to my local dealer today to put in an order for a convertible ZL1 with a manual tranny. The sales guy took it over the person who does the ordering and came back saying that he couldn't enter a convertible into the system, only coupes. He said the system wouldn't allow a convertible ZL1 selection.
What does that really mean? They don't have an allocation for a convertible and I need to find a different dealer? Last edited by L98 Z28; 01-14-2017 at 06:37 PM. |

My dealer faxed me a copy of my order for a Convertible A10 today. Not sure if he placed the order today or just was randomly following up with me. I put a deposit down last week. He claims that the dealership has an allocation for one.

Thanks, STLZL1. It seems other have been able to order convertibles. Wondering if my local dealer doesn't actually have an allocation if he's saying he can't enter the order right now.

Late December I placed an order for a coupe. He told me he also had an allocation for a convertible. He only got 2 allocations, 1 each.

I am curious about this as well. My dealer told me the drop down tab on the build site isn't available, maybe Becky could chime in here to answer.. I am trying to order a A10 coupe not a vert, so I don't know if he is just yanking my chain or not.
