Ok guys talk me out of it..But I am really considering getting a White 16 Mustang GT premium with the California Package....BUT I really really want to get a camaro again..BUT I can't find a white in my price range...Want to be under 32k but I only want a white one..I found a couple blacks but don't want the maintenance that comes with black

In my opinion you can't go wrong with either. I'm partial to the interior of the Ford but like the bang for buck factor in the Chevy

ya the interior and exterior of the camaro really is more appealing vs the mustang....Was going to get a mustang few days ago, but my indecisiveness kicked in and now going back to camaro..Prob going to wait it out another month or so before I decide

Spend a little more and get the Camaro if that is what you really want.

Have you looked nationwide? See if you can have a dealer trade or take a road trip. Don't settle if you like the Camaro more. It will just eat you up.

Just ditched a 16 Mustang to come back to the Camaro...Mustang wasn't bad but this new Camaro is much better

Get what you want. Both are great. Save a few bucks and go Mustang if you love both. Especially if you don't care that the Camaro A8 is considerably faster.

I can talk you out of it, Im currently in the process of the lemon law with my 16 GT because of the drive line vibration. It affects a ton of these cars, do you really want to roll the dice on being stuck with that?

thanks for sharing - just goes to show that EVERY car made has some form of defect pattern in some models. A lot of the M6G people will shoot at the Camaro for these things, but never admit to the Mustang having some problems too.

I don't hate the new stangs but trust me the GT doesn't even compete in terms of performance, if you can't find a Performance Pack in your budget I would just wait for a used 12 SS. And even with the PP the performance gap is considerable.

Buy what you like. Don't miss out on the car you want over a little bit of money though. Especially if you plan to keep the car for a while. You'll be upset about not paying a little more for what you really wanted. Been there, done that, have the t shirt haha.

My advice is patience Grasshopper. Drive them both again and both are fun cars to own with different strengths. Also when you buy used buy the car and the best deal you can find. Compromise on color if needed.

A 5.0 is a much, much better performer than any 5th gen camaro lol (except Zl1). Don't give him that wrong advice. The 6g is definitely a better performer no doubts about it but when it comes to mods then the deciding factor is who has deeper pockets.

Op do a nationwide search and try to find what you want, If not then either car is badass and would probably make you satisfied.

Both cars have their problems. Hit or miss. Go with the one that makes your heart beat just a little bit more. I had a hard time choosing between the Camaro and the Challenger.
