I saw that too. They've been sitting there for weeks. What a joke. I'll be patient and get mine for less than MSRP... thank you but no thanks Penske Chevy!

These greedy turds need to be taught a lesson. They are banking on someone just laying down for them because these are the first releases. The internet is a useful tool when it comes to buying anything. Keeps the consumer a little protected.

There are now about 40 pages of Hellcats for sale in Auto Trader. About 1/2 of them are below MSRP, and yet some dealers are still wanting 10K over MSRP! Maybe the ZL1's will be the same. I can't imagine many paying above MSRP, especially when so many are for sale below sticker.

Momentum in San Jose wins - $87,585, but buyers can go right next store in Redwood City and only (ha!) pay $77,905.

Bought mine using the GM Military Discount which turned out to be slightly more than the MSRP reduction discount offered in the Cherolet Build & Price tool that just expired 1/3/2017. Out the door with PDR, ZL1 Protection Pkg (cover & mats), destination charge, gas guzzler tax, tags & license, and an excessive "Documentation Fee" of $599, it was just over $65K.

Sorry you have to wait. I know that can be painful. I'll try to keep you pumped by posting my break-in progress and sharing what I learn about this beautiful beast. I may even post some PDR videos if I can find a secluded road or find that a local drag strip is open. When air temps get below 50 F it's pointless to try and get any real performance data. Tires get too hard to get any traction so I just end up burning off the tread anyway. Also, as the disclaimer states, it's dangerous to drive these "Summer Only" tires in Winter conditions.

Yeah.. I'm pretty pissed that the PDR isn't available on the Vert. That's retarded. And the summer tires... yeah... my 2013 ZL1 had the same "warning". It stayed in the garage over the winters. Now I miss that car and am trying to be patient waiting....

Drive it out here, change the oil and make some passes. Our tracks are still open.
