Navigation Preset
This might be known already, but today I discovered that the preset buttons at the bottom of the infotainment screen can be used for purposes other than radio stations. I used one for a navigation location that I frequently use, and my understanding is that preset buttons can also be used for telephone numbers and songs. It probably works for playlists, too, but I have yet to get a playlist to work.

Just a question.
If it is a location you travel to frequently, do you really need NAV to get to it? |

Thanks for that tip... it will be nice to setup a home button..... i use that a lot as navigating into a new area sometimes requires navigating back out again. i've gotten used to that one touch home feature with my garmins.
While on the topic I found out quite by accident that you can zoom the nav display in and out with your fingers pinching the screen just like on my phone.... even though there are + and - symbols on the display that do the same thing i think this is very handy and intuitive to use on the fly. |

You can also change the name of the favorite after saving in the radio settings menu...so the button will say "home" rather than an address #. You can get pretty creative with the names of your favorites!!!

mekirk2,
pretty sure the steering wheel buttons should skip anything other than radio favorites. I'll have to try that one! |
