Race wing for the Camaro
We are working on a new wing design for the new Camaro. Please let me know what you guys think.

I see GTR inspiration...I think it will look good, as long as the distance from the deck lid to the top of the wing isn't too much. Personally, smaller gap is better for this car. One of the members here stuck a GTR wing on his car and I thought that the size just didn't fit well with the car. Interested to see what others think.

I'm interested to know how much more downforce it generates vs. the stock wing.

I don't like it myself, for the most part. It's very EVO looking (at least from the back, anyway), as BradfordCamaro also said. The side shot is quite nice, though - I like the way it tails out at the back.
I'd like to see a BTCC style race wing myself, but something which somehow makes it a Camaro wing rather than simply a universal wing. Your design with a center strut might even start to look more interesting, now I picture it. |

One thing I would caution you on is the mounting points as well. The SS and ZL1 specifically have mid mounting points further forward due to the style of the spoiler. Based on the design above every key other than the base would leave mounting holes in the deck lid

I would love to see the end result of this!
Just hoping it is ABS plastic and not fiberglass!
