Hey guys so a 2ss is not in my budget right now but a 1ss is so I did a search but couldn't find all my answers so here's some questions I have before I commit

I wanted ceramic white leather but obv on a 1ss itbisntbhappeneing so the dealer said they would install leather my question is where can I get the ss logo to put on the seat to make it look factory as possible?

Also I know I can get the spectrum lighting but from what I read on here it won't change the color on the radio and cup holder is there anyway I can get that to work just like the 2ss? And can I get illuminated sill plates and footwell lighting?

Those are the only things I really wanted in my camaro

Im not sure what they're gonna charge for that but it sounds like it's gonna be more hassle than its worth, if you really want those options save up the extra and get the 2SS. Trust me, if at all possible it will be completely worth it. I work at a dealer and there's alot of differences that make the 2SS way nicer and for the price difference after you add those 2 things it'll be more than worth it.

The difference in price between the 1ss and 2ss is nominal when its broken into monthly payments. If your stretching yourself that much where that difference is make or break you should not be buying a Camaro at all. In my honest opinion.

You are including the 20% discount for the 2SS? That was the only way I could get it.

I also did not know until after the fact, negotiations start after the 20% applied. Ahh well, they gave me top dollar for my trade in that should not have got top dollar.

Are you buying new or slightly used? Theres 2SS's for 31,000-33,000 fully loaded with no - low miles on them. 1SS's are going for just a few thousand under them. These are 2016 models FYI but you can find some 2017's priced mid 30's also.

negotiations might start after the 20 percent applied, but i couldn't get them to budge off full boat retail minus the 20 percent. they said they'd negotiate on a non-tag car! i was in a take it or leave it situation; and no other tag cars around but convertibles, which i didn't want. i got other bs perks/concessions, and a raise on my trade, but as for knocking the price down, no, they let me walk, and then walk back. they also insisted the dealer "participated" in the 20 percent discount, about which i remain skeptical. i'd like to hear from buyers who got dealers to knock down the price on the 20 pct tagged cars, how much and when. because i couldn't make it happen in november....

I'm trying to figure out this too regarding the spectrum lighting and sill plates. From what I understand, it should operate the same as the 2SS, or at least that's what the salesman told me and when I look it up online it lists the multi-color selection stuff.

I'd be curious if anyone has actually added this to a 1SS and how it works. I'm looking to order a 1LE soon but I like the way the lighting looks and was going to add the Dark Night with sill plates.
