Locked out of Vert, Help!

I recently put my convertible up for the winter. I opened the trunk, pulled the Neg. lead from the battery and closed the trunk. I instantly realized I now have no way to get back in the trunk to put the battery terminal back on.
Does anyone know how I can access the trunk? I tried pulling the back of the rear seat but on the convertible their seems to be no access.

Any suggestions?

You can pull the back seat forward a little up at the top and there is a key hole that will open the trunk.

There are battery posts in the engine bay for jump starting the car if your battery dies. Since you disconnected the battery it should be safe to apply 12V power to these posts and then the door and trunk locks can be activated.

There is a key extender in the glove box or the trunk to help give you the leverage you need to turn the key. Looks kindof like a plastic socket.

Sorry, misread the OP (now realize you have access to inside the car, just not the trunk). But, seems as if the key can still assist.

The very doesn't have the trunk button on the driver's side door? Or is that not a mechanical release?

Button in door is an electrical release that wouldnt work with a dead / disconnected battery. The only way to open it with a dead / disconnected battery is the key slot behind the back seat.

I was in the back seat the day before yesterday and did not even see this. Thanks for taking the time to post this pic. I can take care of it today and finally put the car up for it's long winter nap.

Good to know, it was always such a satisfying button press I just assumed it was mechanical
