Anyone using the easy exit?

I must say it is much easier to get in and out when the seat goes all the way back and might even help lessen the wear and tear on the seat bolsters since I'm further back when exiting but I can't help but wonder if this is going to wear those seat motors out 10x faster (Probably)..

Also, I noticed the area right in front of the floor mats is getting pretty dirty because when I step in with the seats back that far I can't help but step on that area just before the mat. I need a longer floor mat.

and.. The amount of time it takes riding the seat back to memory position 1 so that I can reach the clutch/brake pedal to start the car feels like eternity. lol

Why not just tilt the steering wheel to the full 'up' position, for a similar improvement in access/egress? Recently, this has been a satisfactory solution for me when my right hip joint disagrees with the idea of being rotated in a certain direction in order to slip out under the steering wheel.

As far as the PS motor is concerned, there is a tendency to be pushing against the motor when bringing the seat closer that might be mitigated by pulling yourself forward with the other hand.

I use the easy exit and like it. The hard plastic that holds the base of the seat belt doesn't poke me in the butt as much since it points more to the back of the seat when it is all the way down and back. I've got the Lloyd Ultimat also. Very satisfied with the fit and coverage.

So do the Lloyd floor mats come with the longer extension that would cover the area in front of the seat when it's fully back in exit mode or do I have to specifically order that feature somehow? I went on their site but didn't see anything that indicated they were longer editions.

THanks!

I prefer the mustang easy out. Seat goes back on exit and rides forward when push the start button. No need to hold the seat key at all.

same in the Camaro, you don't hold any key down....if you have to hold the button down you're not calibrated correctly ...;follow this YouTube for the vette, Camaro same

I played around with mine a few days ago and now it's all jacked up. I got it to stop going back when I exit, but now it goes back when I start the car :( Will try the video to see if it works

You're actually the second person on here to have that issue. So strange.
