So how do I go about choosing an exhaust?

My price range is between $800-1200 so that narrows it a bit, but I still can't decide. Ultimately I wish I could go headers+cam+exhaust; but I gotta keep her under warranty at least for the time being. So how did you guys decide on your exhaust? I just want the loudest best sounding thing with NPP functionality so I can make it semi-quiet whenever. Sorry if this post is redundant. Thanks for any advice.

Delete your secondary cats and put the rest of your money in the bank

I was thinking about just doing a secondary cat delete but I felt it wouldn't sound "aftermarket" enough, or loud enough.. Guess you guys think it suffices, i will continue to consider it

You can do the secondary cat delete, but keep in mind that its illegal, and depending on your dealer, it could lead to them using that as an excuse to void all your warranty, not just the exhaust warranty. More often then not tho, this happens when you mess with the primary and the o2 sensor.... but its a risk.
You can always weld it back on tho, so idk.

The secondary cat will make it somewhat louder, but it will also give more of a rasp then if left on.

I have the Borla ATAK which is pretty loud and throaty outside, definitely a head-turner, and yet quiet enough inside when in track and all without drone, and still very quiet when in stealth mode, so I am happy with it. The axle-back should be within your budget.

the npp is a nice system.. and the cat delete would make it louder, always a muffler delete, but for NPP cats are a better choice

+1 for Borla ATAK

Man I wish I could test drive all these exhausts, or at least hear one drive by or something.

I'm going with mbrp but I'm completely ditching the npp altogether. I also am running longtubes and no cats.

Sledgehammer did a test of a few systems at idle and driveby if I'm not mistaken.

add cutouts. Super loud and much cheaper than any of these aftermarket setups. Got mine from QTP. They have a set for the 2016 already. I have 3 modes now. Tour , Sport/Track and OMG what is that noise!

VERY SIMPLE- GO NPP. Then in a year or 2 make a change.
