I searched around last month.. Not sure if these can work with our brembo calipers.
The price isn't too bad http://www.autoanything.com/brakes/6...ReviewsSection |

The stock brakes are just fine for almost all of us other than the real track rats. Pads, lines and fluid will make up a lot of the difference before moving to the 6-pistons. MOST aftermarket rotors are not worth it...particularly the ones with holes. Holes are just terrible they make the rotor so much more susceptible to failure. Slotted is "fine" but not really proven to increase performance in all applications. The only two rotor improvements that have been proven to be beneficial all around are: 1. Ventilated rotors (release heat better...our stock rotors already have these) 2. 2 piece rotors (aluminum hat and iron ring that touches the pads)...saves weight, more uniform expansion and keeps the heat away from the wheel bearings because iron and aluminum don't transfer heat to each other effectively. They are more expensive and I would likely not get them unless I was a track-rat.

i had stock brembo brake pads/rotors on my old car 09 cobalt ss turbo and upgraded the lines and fluid and never had a problem everybody upgraded the pads and rotors to r1 concepts and powerslot and all these other companies and just laughed at them wasting there money
if i upgrade it will be the same just lines/fluid or the oem gm big brake kit

1. They dust A LOT...not a big problem for me but it is the number one thing you read. 2. The initial bite is not great. 3. In track situations they fade due to heat. Pads/lines/fluid can solve 2 and 3...as well as possibly 3. Pads will effect 1 and 2...Ceramic if all you care about is dust and the stock performance is fine for you. Fluid will effect 3. Lines basically just make the pedal firmer which makes it feel better and makes the brakes react to you pressing the pedal faster.

First off, I drive a convertible so I did not get any brake cooling at all, holes blocked for ventilation on the verts.
I bought the Powerstop Z26 kit and did not notice much difference at all, but I drive my car at 9/10's and many people do not do that. I went to Dot 4 Motul 660 and it helped but most of my stopping issues were solved with opening up the vents in the grill and fender liner so they could get air. Driving the car at 9/10's now and did not have any issues. So, I agree, good pads, Dot 4, and some stainless steel brake lines and you should be good.
