Splash/Rock guards

Does anyone know of any splash guards or rock guards? I know Rpi design makes some but I'm not a fan of the way the rear looks. Are there any other options out there? I though zl1 addons was making some but I can't seem to find them.....

GM sells the body colored ones, not a huge fan of them and I have heard they really don't help with rocks flying up from the tires and rock dings on the lower panels.

I just installed the rpi ones. The back ones are good. They secure really well and work well. And I honestly don't mind how they look.

The front ones seem to flutter at highway speeds or somthing. My car sounds like it's dragging debris or somthing. And it's just one oem pushpin and a little clip on the fender holding it on.

I'll try to live with it for the winter months.

I may be in the minority here, but I really like the GM splashguard they did on the new Camaro, I've had the RPI and another set on my C7 Vette and my 13 SS, and the new 16 splashguard so far is the best . The color matches great , I'm going for form over function, but it has protected very well in 4K miles, I would buy them again.

How are your panesl in front of the rear tires with those guards? Mine have a bunch of very small rock dings, not sure if the guards would help.

Those panels are OK on my car, my plastic is in pretty good shape, it's the flare that is gathering rocks and no splashguard will protect you there. The only thing that will protect you really there is Rocker skirts. Or annual applications of xpel in that area.

Which is better?

While looking at ZL1 addon and RPI designs splash guards, i noticed that their designs were somewhat different and was wondering if any of you guys had and insight as to which kind is better. The Rpi design splash guards extend below the car and the ZL1 addons splash guards do not extend below the car. Should splash guards extend below the car or not? Im looking to try to prevent rock chips the best I can. Thanks

RPI Design's splash guard

RPI I will protect better but the disadvantage IS they look like mud flaps. The GM guards look better but probably don't give as much coverage, however after a year of using the GM product, I'm very happy with the coverage. Up to you.

Ok, so the zl1 addons brand ones are similar in the coverage area to the GM ones so they will offer less protection.... I liked the zl1 addons brand one more but if the rpi design will offer more protection they would be a more logical buy. Are they really noticeable?

I got the RPIs and the install seems screwy. Installing the metal clip with a burr on it facing the fender seems like just asking for rust or corrosion on that spot where it damages the paint during install. The rears don't seem to fit flush, since the screws will push the flare down and cause the plastic to sit up against the fender ridge and distort when the screws are tightened, plus the screw heads aren't going to be securing the inner fenders unless they're cranked down so hard that the splash guard is massively deformed.

I just don't get it. I called and asked for a return, they seem completely half baked to me. $2 worth of flimsy plastic and a few screws.
