Thumbs up Willwood Aero6 Brakes

been keeping an eye on their site, for if they came out with something. hopefully this stands true, but its another alternative to the selection out there.

I had these on the 5th gen I had, and they offer options for 18 inch wheel fitment and 19inch wheel fitment. it will still be 6 piston aero6 calipers.

I know what I'm shooting for, for Xmas!

not sure if theres a better. more so which fits your needs more. my excitement is I'm more familiar with the wide range of pad compounds over the last 3 cars and about a decade. wildwood, brembo, AP racing, all offer top of the line brakes and pads.

Too bad JDP never bothered to follow up on their kit. There will be lots of options soon.

Would that void our warranty on our brakes?

Rule of thumb with modding.

You void the warranty on whatever part you replace. Mainly if it's not a gm product.

Would you say upgrading to the SS brakes from the 2016 brakes and rotors be worth it? Considering I have a V6z

From the way I was brought up with cars, I rarely try to tell someone, that something is worth it, unless I know their goals.

Worth is up to the individual, purely based on what their goals are with the car.

If you don't race, or do high speed performance events. Then some might not find it worth it to go to bigger brakes.

If you're content with what you have, will never visit a track, and maybe a pads change is all you need...then I wouldn't see the need to spend 500-2000$ for the same results.

If you plan to do some track time, try it out first and see if you have a need to upgrade brakes.

If it's just something you want to do, then price out what's better for you. 4 pistons can be gotten for about 500$ of people removing theirs for 6 piston setupsetup.

But like said, anything...brakes, performance parts, etc...Worth is up to you. And it should be based on what you plan to do with the car.

Please do... I know they're not exactly the same as my old ones. The geometry has changed. But I'm kicking myself in the ass knowing I could have salvaged some of the parts.

Different mounting bracket and rotor hat
