Zl1 Parts Compatibility

Any idea if parts such as the Zl1 front bumper, side skirts and possibly hood is a direct fit??

Also major question would be regarding the A10, is it possible to work with the LT1?

The hood and side skirts should be no problem bolt right on and fit fine.

The front end clip might not fit right in if the front fenders aren't the same as the SS. You should check with the dealer on that.

As for the A10, it will bolt right in physically but you might have issues getting the ECM and your instrument cluster to cooperate without reprogramming.

I see, thank you. As far as the A10 goes does it run its own ecm? Assuming it would need a new harness or something to tie into the cluster and paddle shifters etc..

The A10 isn't even available on the ZL1 yet. So anything someone says is a lot of speculation

The hood is supposedly not going to be able to fit directly onto an SS...I don't know if this is due to body lines not aligning like last generation....or if it physically won't fit due to a different shape.

The front bumper cover will NOT fit directly on, like last generation, because the front fenders have been widened. Furthermore, there are many unique baffles, ducts, and chutes integrated into the front-end design to encourage functional cooling.

So if you want the front end look...you'll need to get all that, AND the wider front fenders...

Okay cool thank you, then side skirts and maybe A10 swap it is lol for now. Feel the A10 is really gonna live up the hype. A8 is good, but I feel a tune/reflash to the trans will make it much better.. more crisper shifts, better rev-match when downshifting and having no delay in the paddles also..

Hope hptuners keeps finding more tables for the A8 to one day create a hybrid tune of the A8 & A10
