1LE Suspension upgrade package cost for standard SS

How much will the 1LE suspension upgrade for the mag ride SS's cost when it comes out? The Gen 5 1LE upgrade is only $1500. I would think its going to be the same or less, since you still use the same shocks and just do a software upgrade. Just springs, sways, shock recalibration and a control arm upgrade. There might be a Z28 upgrade one day too.

Anyone have any information, ideas or predictions? I'm hoping for $1000.

2SSA81LE ???

Gen 5 1LE kit

I would think there may still be shocks at least. Might have more metallic particles in the fluid than ours do. But I'm faaaarrrr from being a suspension expert. Maybe it will be just a tune! . Fingers crossed!

I wish for a z28 upgrade as well but I think they protected those parts pretty hard to prevent "cloning". I would imagine they'll do that again

I'm keeping an eye out for this as well.

Currently going to go with a package of BMR stuff but if GM's setup is comparable, I might just go with that. Every now and then, GM sends out coupons for like 15% off accessories.

Come to think of it mrc was only like $1600 wasn't it? Hopefully we'll be in the 1000 or less range. The coupons would be awesome for that too

Bigger Sway bars and beefier end-links, different shock/spring package. I'm guessing close to 2k.

You will have to have a mag ride car to start with and the car will need to be reprogrammed by GM most likely to take advantage of the more aggressive FE4 packages damper tuning.

This is all a guess of course

I still don't see a price, but looks like the package is being announced at SEMA:

Camaro

Suspension Handling Package: 84130608 (1LE Track Pack-Street. SS Coupe with Magnetic Ride Control)

Take your Gen 6 Camaro's handling to the next level with this suspension upgrade. This 1LE kit uses the same hardware and shock calibration as the production 1LE. The stiffer stabilizer bars, higher rate springs and handling links reduce body roll and increase steering precision and feel. MR Shock calibration has been specially tuned to optimize ride and handling with the increased spring and stabilizer bar rates.

*Calibration requires programming at dealership (included).

So that would essentially give us the FE4 suspension? Im in!

Although, I kinda want to lower the car.....hmm. Wonder if the 1LE springs are the same height as the regular SS. Looks like it in the pics so far.

Yeah I'm in. Keep me posted if you see pricing and availability. Probably something we could do ourselves which would save some cash. It's not many parts and they're all easy to reach....I think. Lol

I'm guessing sub 1500.

The real 1LE has Performance Traction Management. I wonder if the calibration they provide with this kit is only for MRC (most likely) or if it enables a Performance Traction Management for the SS. The only difference at that point (from a PTM standpoint) would be the E-Diff.
