Hypothetical questions on life post SC install.

Say you get a magnuson sc, What else would you do? Which bolt-ons that are CA legal? Which do you intake and which one? Then you have exhaust, what pipe config? Anything I miss?
?
After a mag, what else do you meed to add?

People seem to be reporting good results with the rotofab on the magnusson. Exhaust wise nothing really stands out cost/performance wise, its basically just for the sound you want.

After the maggie with say a rotofab you are going to hit fuel system limits, which can get real expensive real quick.

You don't need an intake with a SC. There's no air restriction that shows up during tuning if you leave your car at the stock 6 psi of the Maggie. Maybe if you bump up the boost with a smaller pulley, but I still doubt it. Those results that are being marketed with 40hp gains don't make sense to me. Maybe with a smaller pulley and a fuel pump change it will give you some gains, but I just don't understand what they're doing in the tuning to pull that kind of power if they're using the stock pulley. I'm waiting to see someone with this set up bring their car to a dyno and post their results so we can see what's really going on.

What you will need is to upgrade your suspension if you plan on launching your car. The stock cats are a big a restriction so headers are a logical addition but I guess you don't really need them either. I'd get headers over the intake.

Also a wider wheel/tire combo will help a lot. Definitely add the 6 pistons if you don't already have them.

NA Un-tuned I picked up 14 so I could see 40 HP out of a tune SC set up easy. (rotofab)

As for exhaust, save the cash on the LT's and just get the CA Cat delete pipes. Seen a few ProCharged cars going to LT and only picking up a few HP to me the cost wasn't worth it.

To be smog legal in Ca it needs to have an E.O.#, so forget anything else except a cat back which is for sound only.
Headers and no cats or hi flow cats are only worth about 20 more HP, the factory shorties and cats flow well so not as much gain as the 5th Gens. Now when I mention about a 20 HP gain that's from a quality set, not the cheap crap that is available.
The RotoFab has proven its worth on S/C applications but does require tuning, the stock Maggie tune will not support the added air flow. The 40 HP gains people are speaking of are a combination of the intake and tuning. It is true.
I have been developing my '16 to find what works and what doesn't, currently I have a Maggie with a 90mm GripTec Pulley, Kooks LT's with Green cats, BTR custom cam and RotoFab CAI.
Don't ask for Dyno Sheets, I will post up all my gains in its own thread when I am done.

I got 19rwhp out of my headers. I'm going to have to grab one of these then if they're the real deal. I'm going to change my fuel pump and go smaller on the pulley though...maybe even add the new injectors being revealed at Sema too if the rumors are true.
