Switching to non run on flat.

Is it OK to switch from the stock run on flats on my 1ss to a non run on flat? Needing to replace tires but don't wanna spend too much on replacements.

What if I were to replace the rears with non run flat and keep the front with run flat until the tread on thone go down? Would that be fine as well? And the wheels don't require you to have run on flats either?

Anyone care to share a photo of what your car looks like with the non run flats?

They look just like any other tire. Round and black.

I am talking about the tire profile. This forum is to help others. Not to post smart ass meaningless responses.

Why would non run flats look any different? They are not a special size either.
This forum is full of humour. I love it.

A 245/40/20 non run flat is round and black just like a 245/40/20 run flat.

Nobody is trying to be a smart ass. A 40 profile is a 40 profile on every tire. The only real difference is going to be tire compound and tread. There are other things but that's the basics. It might help if you google how a run flat tire works.

The only difference is the compound, other then that I would say make sure the UTQC is similar to the one your keeping on the car.
