Rear diffuser on lt?

I have a 1lt RS and was thinking about the rear diffuser if that's what you would call it? Was wondering about getting the one off the SS and swapping it onto my car? Has anyone done or thought about this? Opinions welcomed!

Been thinking about it. It doesn't look like the easiest thing to remove. Also looks like a lot of plastic clips which I don't love.

I was considering it because once I got rid of the suitcase muffler back there it kindof wrecked the smooth airflow path. I was hoping to fab something up to prevent any negative aerodynamic effects.

Yeah I understand the concern about the clips etc... my only concern is that it is almost not even black. Might just be me? But the SS one seems like a more definite gloss black color, but then the color of the pieces in the grill seem like that grayish color instead of black also

I know you can swap out the dual tip facia with the quad tip facia on an SS. So, this thread might help. I don't know what the rear facia (diffuser) looks like on an LT model so it might not help.

The dealership body shop swapped mine when they installed the exhaust. The installer said it wasn't a big deal. Maybe not if you know what you are doing.
