Eibach Pro-kit on a MRC Equipped Car

I have been very lucky with my 6th gen Camaro in being able to work with some amazing companies who have been willing to work with me. I have had some simple goals with the look, feel and over a design of how I want my 6th Gen and lowering the car was a primary goal once MRC capable Springs were born.

Ahead of the 1LE and ZL1 reveal, I was working on getting new wider wheels and running into rub issues with 315's and even 305's with the stock tire sidewall sizes. But when I dropped down to 30 side wall height tires, a bigger issue appeared and that was the dreaded wheel gap. But at the time no one had released MRC capable springs...

Fast forward to today and the last month, I have been talking and working with Eibach around their offering. They have been testing the springs on a car with MAG ride and have also chatted with the engineer for the MAG stock system. It all boiled down making sure all the corners are aligned to the same height to keep it working properly without issues. Eibach took that info and designed and properly R&D their product and can safely say their 6th Gen Pro-kit works with our cars with and without the MRC setup.

So, today I am in the middle of crafting an install video for the springs and will be doing a full reveal of ride quality, etc.

The car is still on the rack here at Eibach, but here is some sneak peek images.

Note: My wheel gap is bigger than the stock car gap because I have 30 tall tires over the stock setup. This is the same as the coming ZL1 and 1LE.

I would have preferred to see our springs on it, but I can't deny that the car looks amazing. The whole color combo and choice of mods are on point

Subscribed as this is something I really need/want to do. Waiting for some of you to get some miles on the eibach's and seeing if your MRC blows up.

Nice! The car is looking great Sledge.

I've been driving on my set of Eibachs for a while now - I think they settled a bit and I'm going to get it re-aligned this week. I'll finally take fender to floor and wheel center measurements on the alignment rack. The ride/handling balance of these is on point.

So after 1,000 miles on the springs I can say the ride is about 90% the same as stock in all drive modes. I have a full review incoming, but editing my install video as we speak.

The biggest thing is things feel a bit more bouncy on big dips and bumps, but handling into the corners feels better than stock. Throw the car into track mode and hit corners like your at the track and it is heaven.

Looks good, I don't know how you guys do 30 series tires. I tried it for a day and hated feeling every little crack in the road.

Installed today in my garage. Took about three hours by my count. I wasn't in a rush and that includes getting the car on stands. Had a few beers as well.

If anyone wants some install pics, I can post some. They're not comprehensive, but they'll help. It's not a very difficult job by any means. I don't have any after pics because the car is on stands. I'm going to paint the calipers tonight.

I'd say a few hundred miles.
