Will ZL1 have Sound Tube similar to SS?
If so, can we expect to actually hear some blower whine?

Just go listen to a Z06 vs Stingray.... It's a massive diff
Sounds like a turbine starting up then the biggest rumble you will hear in your life ... It's awesome and I expect nothing less on the Camaro ZL1 vs SS...

Well, I meant the sound tube on the intake tube that sends engine sounds to the passenger compartment.

Per several ride along videos of the new ZL1 by media members, I only hear alot of supercharger whine inside.

I read somewhere I think that the ZL1 will have a small supercharger than the Z06 but will higher RPMs, this might affect the sound. I have an old school GMC belt drive blower, and to get more whine I would over tighten the drive belt. Sounded cool when cruising.

I would not expect to hear much blower whine. The Z06 and CTS-V have nearly zero. I never hear the blower even with the exhaust in quiet mode. Also my Gen5 ZL1 had no blower whine with the stock CAI. I bought a RotoFab CAI so I could have whine and it sounded epic.
My 2 cents is stock no whine but loud a$$ exhaust. My Z06 has scared more than one person at startup.

I did not see a sound tube on the ZL1 this weekend @ LGR. But those were pre-production vehicles. LT4 on the ZL1 does have a larger cover vs Zo6 LT4 and ZL1 LT4 does have Tri-y headers whereas the ZO6 LT4 does NOT.

So, interestingly, with a taller lid for better cooling and tri-y headers...why isn't the ZL1 making more than 650? Even if it's just a hair more, any efficiency improvements should yield slightly higher hp right?
