Real world pricing
Hi everyone,
Long time reader and 1st post. I haven't seen real out-the-door pricing on the 1ss. I am planning on picking one up in the spring but the prices seem to be out of reach. My ideal budget is 30k OTD- I'm a special education teacher and I already own an MK7 GTI (plan on having this as a daily) so going over 30k would not be entirely smart. For example, Chapman Chevy. Most of their 1ss stock is 30-33k. Will they hit me with few mark-up charges to bring it back up to invoice prices? http://www.chapmansellschevys.com/Ve...-PA/2805713503 http://www.koons.com/new/Chevrolet/2...512db7958c.htm thanks for the input! jesus they are cheap on that dealer site. Seriously, how is he listing these so cheap?????? I'm about to take a flight to Philly to get a second Camaro, 2SS fifty edition for 38K..
edit: nevermind they have a bunch of different rebates as the savings which many may or may not qualify for. |

If you are looking at a $40k MSRP 1SS, on average you will get 2500-3500 off, plus tax, tag and title.

My dealership I bought my camaro from had a conquest deal, I did not read close enough, and of course I didn't qualify for that because I've been loyal to GM over all these years. Thanks GM.

What are the invoice prices for base 1ss?
Also, since i'm an educator, I qualify for GM's teacher discount. Does anyone know the amount? http://www.chevrolet.com/educator-discount.html |

I just found this one..but i know Koons will add little charges here and there but it will still be lower than MSRP.
Anyone have experience with koons? http://www.koons.com/new/Chevrolet/2...512db7958c.htm |

I'm looking at a V6 6-spd manual 2LT/RS 50th Anniversary MSRP with College discount at $36,700. This is a 2SS 50th Automatic for $38k? So they list the rebates as:
2017 Chevrolet Camaro SS 50th Anniversary Edition!!! Not all consumers qualify for retail incentives, see dealer for details - Are you currently leasing a vehicle? You may be eligible for additional incentives - Pricing includes $1000 - Military/Educator/College Grad/Supplier Discount (ask to see if you qualify - your employer may make you eligible for supplier discount) Exp. 08/01, $1500 - GMF Down Payment Assist Offer Exp. 08/01, $2000 - Chevy Trade Assist Offer (2006+ vehicle trade) Exp. 08/01, $1,500 - Equinox Owner Loyalty (proof of ownership/lease of Chevy Equinox) Exp. 08/01, $500 - GM Card New Member Offer (Credit restrictions apply) Exp. 08/01, $500 - American Farm Bureau Member (Proof of membership required) Exp. 08/01 I would qualify for all but the Equinox. - I am a College Student and the Supplier discount is actually $1,903, not $1000 on that equipped vehicle. - $1,500 GMF Down Payment Assist Offer - not sure what this is. I'm currently financed with GM, I'd assume they would finance me again. Anyone know the details on this? Is this available at all Chevy Dealers? - $2000 - Chevy Trade Assist Offer (2006+ vehicle trade) - Is this an additional $2000 towards a 2006+ Chevy trade in? I'm trading in a 2013 Camaro. Is this available at all Chevy Dealers? - $1,500 - Equinox Owner Loyalty - Don't qualify - $500 - GM Card New Member Offer (Credit restrictions apply) - Is this an up front $500 for new GM Card members that apply and qualify for a new GM CC? Anyone with information on this? My credit is excellent and I'd apply for it if it gave me $500 off! - $500 - American Farm Bureau Member - I qualify for this as well (I miss the $750 USAA). So that's $47,640 - $1,903 College - $1,500 GMF DP Assist - $2,000 Chevy Trade Assist - $500 GM Card - $500 Farm Bureau ====== $41,237 - The $1,500 Equinox would be $39,737. Where's the other $1,439? If they gave me what I'm looking for on my trade-in, I would have another $3k off. I could also swap the $500 New GM CC with $1,500 GM Points. I also have a $1,000 PO that expires 8/1. $5,000 down would put my payment the same as it is now for my 2013. Total would be $34,298 +tax - 5k down. I want a 6-spd manual, but an automatic at this price would be phenomenal! I'll be calling them tomorrow just to see what the scoop is. I'm sure it's a pipe dream... but doesn't hurt to look/ask.

- $1,000 College Grad - This was the only thing she wasn't clear about. She asked if I graduated in the last 2 years, and I was telling her I'm still in college going for my Bachelor's and this qualifies me for the GM College Discount which would be $1,903. She said that is supplier pricing and this $1,000 is for College Grads. If I went with supplier pricing then I wouldn't qualify for some of the other incentives. Unless they are offering something on their own, I'm not sure what this is and I couldn't get a straight answer on it. - $1,500 GMF Down Payment Assist Offer - If you get financed through GM and put down $1,500, GM will give you $1,500 back as well. Again, not 100% clear whether it's matched and taken off the financed price or if it's a cash back incentive. - $2,000 Chevy Trade Assist Offer - Trade in a 2006+ Chevy vehicle and you will get an additional $2,000 on top of their trade-in offer. They wouldn't do a "preliminary" trade offer over the phone with my VIN and condition so I can't tell you if they low-ball their trades to give you this "extra" $2,000. - $1,500 Equinox Owner Loyalty - We all should know what this is - if you currently own or lease an Equinox, you get $1,500 off. - $500 GM Card New Member Offer - If you apply for and get a approved on a new GM Credit Card, you will get $500 off your vehicle. - $500 American Farm Bureau Member - Anyone can be an AFB member - just pay $45 and be a member for 30 days and you get $500 off your vehicle. This cannot be combined with the $1,000 Private Offers so one or the other if you happen to get a PO popup! The above totals $7,000. There is still $2,342 missing of the $9,342 discount which she said were additional competitive discounts Chapman is giving on the vehicle. As I said, I qualify for all but the $1,500 Equinox, but I have $1,500 on the GM Card and have a $1000 PO (expires today) in place of the Farm Bureau which both make up the $1,500 in lieu of the Equinox Loyalty incentive. If they gave me close to what I'm looking for on the trade-in would I have $3,000 equity, I could potentially get this 2017 2SS 50th for $34,395. I also asked if the GMF Down Payment Assist, Chevy Trade Assist, and new GM Card member were local, regional, or national for Chevy dealers as I had not heard of them in Florida. She said she didn't know what other Chevy dealers offer so she couldn't help answer that question. If I knew earlier, I might have scheduled a trip to PA to do the deal. Evita will call me tomorrow to tell me what new incentives/discounts are available since all of these ended on 8/1.
