Exhaust options

Is there any full exhaust system (headers to tips) that wouldn't throw any CEL codes? I have a 2016 SS non dual mode

I think the Kooks Longtubes with Green cats won't set any codes. Also, the shorty headers that keep the factory cat pipes in place shouldn't either.

I was reading and it sounds like the SW full system will set off a code

Yes it will. Anytime you mess with the cats you should expect a code. Shorties are also useless as the stock manifolds are just as good.

Kooks with green cats are the only ones right now that wont throw a code. Its like an extra 500 for it though.

I've also been thinking about getting a Borla ATAK® part # 11923 https://www.borla.com/products/camar...rt__11923.html and getting rid of the secondary catalytic converter. As long as it doesn't void any warranty

100% can not install any aftermarket headers without a tune.

The ARH system is what we endorse for this model thoroughly tested on my personal car.

http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showth...&highlight=ARH

We also provide Custom tuning via the SCT X4 tuner also available on our site

Custom tuning is free with purchase of parts from JRE.

Thank you
Ted.

Does that mean the hand held tuner is free with tunes or is that still a separate purchase? I'll be looking more into you guys once my warranty expires haha

No sir, you purchase the tuner from JREperformanceparts.com and receive the custom tunes free for any and all parts purchased from Jannetty Racing.

Thank you for your business.

Ted.
