I have been working in the automotive industry right out of university and I have recently purchased my very own 6th Gen. Ask me anything you like and I would love to help you out in any way I can to get you help on an issue or a Camaro ordered for yourself. For any immediate questions or issues you can contact me on my cell upon request.

Get GM to releasing pricing for cars on time to match the USA! Customer service is horrible all around. Why would it take months to get pricing? My buddy 2sstoronto on this board has been waiting for some time to get his Camaro to get pricing! His car was being built on the last week of June and took up to yesterday to finally get pricing. Now he has to probably wait another two weeks before he sees his car.
Also why is allocation for these cars so bad? I wanted a 2 SS and eventually gave up and ordered something else.

Are Canadian cars supposed to come with a 'run flat' kit to inflat tire? It is explained in the manual, but wasn't in my car. Also don't see it as an option you can buy. Just curious. Hate run flats, will be changing these out as soon as I can....heavy and harsh ride.

On behalf of others, thanks for offering to help.
I think that if you'd be willing to post up the '17 prices, as a 'sticky' (mods to assist), that'd be great! Also, if you could advise re any restraints, etc, also great. I wouldn't ask that you offer up your valuable time to look up random Workbenches, or anything like that.... Again, thanks for offering to help. I think that we all agree that GM needs to offer up official support for us Canucks that are on this site....! Cheers, Paul.

Even the website is still showing '16 pricing, what's the use of having this when you can't order a '16 and '17's are rolling off the line.

Not a problem. I am constantly looking in my Home Office Letters and Autobook for the pricing so I can see if its worth getting a ZL1

Why do dealers act like they have something special when they are selling mass-produced cars?

haha its actually the opposite unless its a PEP vehicle (which is not allowed on Camaro, volt, escalade, ect...) If a GM employee places an order in most cases we will bump back ours so a customer can get allotment. I placed mine as a stock unit and it diddnt sell before it landed so I grabbed it as soon as emp pricing was released. Also I got coupons from all the autoshows!!

With respect to a 2SS, I was told $48,200. A $200 increase on the initial '17's. I've not seen this on-paper, and cannot verify it (warned, "subject to final confirmation, by GM"), whatever that means. At this point, as I've been a bit of a sh!t-disturber, they won't bring me in to finalize, until GM releases the prices of the options...Again, I don't know why they have a price for the car and not the options or accessories.
Overall, an f'ed up pricing, ordering and distribution model. My car is still in Lansing, as far as I know.....!
