Pennzoil Ultra Platinum oil
I'm anticipating my post-break-in oil change and trying to locate some Pennzoil Ultra Platinum oil. Is anyone else using this oil? Can anyone recommend a retailer where I can find it? It seems it's out of stock almost everywhere.

Wal-Mart ALWAYS has it in stock. $22.XX here last time I bought some.
Check bobistheoilguy forums for some LS and LT motors that have had it put in. It does a pretty admirable job considering it's price. |

Yeah I would say Walmart for sure always has it in stock. I am wondering if this is just as good as amsoil?

I am not finding it at Wal Mart. Their website says it is out of stock, too.

I have used Platinum for the last 5 years. Great oil. Last long.
Just did my first oil change 2 weeks ago with it. I expect it to perform well.

It comes and goes on the walmart site. Last time I ordered from amazon when they matched wallyworld prices. $27.xx /5qts - $10 rebate (good through the end of the year).

Im curious... How would you rate Pennzoil Ultra Platinum compared to Mobil 1 Synthetic or Castrol Edge? Has anyone sent their oil for analysis?
