B.F. Goodrich Comp-2 AS - Anyone Running Them?

Some of the reviews on these tires complain of noise and vibration at highway speeds. I'm looking for opinions on them from owners. They're at a good price point and the tread pattern looks like it would work great in heavy rain. I commute long distance and live in NC where it rains.....a lot. Opinions?

4.5 out of 5 stars, 174 votes. I'd say, yes, they're good tires. They're what I'm getting for All-Season tires for my car.

Searched BFGoodrichtires.com for '16 Camaro SS and this was the result:

"Unfortunately, we do not currently manufacture tires fitting this vehicle's Original Equipment specifications. However, we may have an approved alternative and would be glad to help you find one."

Yes, I checked tirerack.com and I've been on their website. I'm not going with OEM sized tires but actually tire rack shows them for the camaro. I just want opinions from camaro 6 owners that were running them. Apparently, my original post wasn't clear enough.

I have them, they were loud ass shit for the first 500 miles , but i no longer hear them at this point. I have 285 in front and 305 in rear, i have noticed almost no tire wear in 12,000 miles on them now. I was upset i waisted my money they were so loud at first. They also performe well in all conditions including ice and snow at this point since i had them.

Why are they loud? They are an all season tire. People on the C5 forum like them a lot and say they are more quiet than the stock Pirellis

I believe any tire with that many tread grooves and sipes will make alot of noise. The tread is also symmetrical which can cause it to amplify sound in a particular frequency. I still like them though. They remind me of the old Goodyear aquatracks which were incredible in a downpour. No rubbing issues with the 305's in back? Is there enough clearance to go with a 315?

On the Gen5 there is no rubbing issue with the 305s idk about the Gen6. BFG doesn't have a 315 in this series.

My wife has the g-Force Comp 2 A/S on her car. The tires have excellent traction, to the point that you could hear the tires sticking to the road with the windows down when we first got the tires.

She really likes the dry and wet traction. I think the ride comfort is very good for how good the traction is, and they are much quieter than the previous tires that were on her car. I would definitely recommend these tires.
