50th Anniversary
What is your first impression on the 50th anniversary model? I'm still not sure what to think about it. Looks nice, I like the front bumper/grille. Price?

Paint and decals don't make a car.... Reminds me of the variants they came out with in late 70's early 80's. Most of you don't remeber - you weren't born yet.
They needed to use the 1LE at Indy pace car |

At first I got all excited when I read about all the extras: Suede Inserts / orange stitching on the interior ( Thought it was going to be just like the ZL1 or 1LE RECARO Seats... ), Special unique wheels...
When I saw the first pictures, I wasn't too excited about those polished wheels so I told myself, that's ok, I can always change them to something else. But when I saw the seat colors ! Black with Gray leather inserts ? ! Not Suede as mentioned on the announcement, that's when I changed my mind. Special stripes / decals / FIFTY badges, can get these anywhere... |

It is a 6th Gen 45th Anniversary! The 50th should have been unlike anything ever seen before. I am saddened by what they came up with. I have owned every Anniversary Camaro since 1992. Chevrolet Performance could have done so much better.

Looks thrown together as far as the paint and stripes go. I took one look at it and totally dismissed it as a product. No goodies, just window dressing.

The 2016 Camaro was basically brand new when it was rolling out of the factory in October 2015. There would be no way Chevrolet would make any major changes for 2017 in spite of their 50th. Where has all the love gone from this forum regarding the new Camaro? It seems that more and more members are just bitching what should have been, what should have been, and that the price is too damn high.

I meant to type "what should have been, what could have been, etc. Is it the Camaro they're disappointed in or their lot in life?

It would have helped a bunch if the 50th package was less "ricer" looking with the graphics. Throw in the GM CAI for an extra 10 hp, give us something, beside some stickers. There were guys putting this package together for looks already and those cars just look ho-hum, nothing to see here.
