Put in 10 Qts of oil
Just had the first oil/Filter change done at 602 miles. 10 Qts of Mobil1 5W-30 added but the dip stick indicates at the half way mark. Seems kinda off odd but I know for certain 10 Qts went in.

Half way up on the hash marks is perfect. In fact, as long as it reads within the hash marked area you're good to go, absolutely no need to be at the top of the range with a 10qt system.
I did exactly the same, used 10qts exactly, including the oil I primed the oil filter with and its right smack in the middle. |
