Is this really the procedure for this...

So I have a vibrating noise coming from the rear at low speed turns. I know this is a known issue. The dealership says they have to replace the fluid then drive 25 miles come back after. Drain the fluid and replace it again then drive another 25 right after. That sounds very annoying. Is this really what I have to do to fix the issue?

Well that is a differential problem. They are probably trying to figure out if the diff is mechanically bad or if they can fix it by running clean fluid through it.

I have heard of this as being the fix to some of the diff issues they are having. Some thing to do with proper lubing of the clutch plates.
