View Instrument Panel while engine is off
I was wondering how to view the instrument panel while the engine is off, but the inside of the car is still on. I try to do this when I'm getting gas to reset my mileage and view/reset average miles per gallon. Does anyone know how to do this? Thank you in advance for your help.

Try pressing the start button without your foot on the brake. That should put the car in ACC mode. Pages 209-210 in the manual.

Yes I have, works well and you can also listen to some tunes for a while and then it will shut off so it doesn't drain the battery.

In order to view the DIC while getting gas so you can reset milage is to hold the start button with your foot off of the brake for like 5-6 seconds.

related to the same subject, I just found out that if you want the car to "act" like its on but the car not running? just push the start button and hold it down for like 5 seconds (with out the brake on or clutch in) if you want full power with out car running.
