Cool Stabillitrak and Power Steering warnings

I have really enjoyed my 2SS Convertible for the month I have had it. The Weather has been perfect and the top has been down for every trip.
I have not wanted to take it in for service while the weather has been so nice.

However, since I have taken delivery the Stabillitrak warning indicator flashes "Service Stabillitrak" for about a second and then it goes away. There does not seem to be any noticeable effect that I can feel.
There is also a Power Steering warning indicator with Chime that occasionly comes up. I can feel just a very brief change in Steering input, it actually seems to ease the tension in the Steering for a split second.

I know it needs to go in for service and soon.
I would like to hear from any one else that might have had this issue (apparently any GM is susceptible), and what was required to fix it and how long was the vehicle in the shop?

I would like to think positive and hope it is as simple as a Module change.

BTW, I should add that it happens in any driving mode , though I usually drive in track mode.

On the c7 Vette, these two alarms can go off if the batt is low or the ground connection is intermittent. Do a voltage check with a gauge tool, with car off, needs to be at least 12.0.

Like Glen said, the stabilitrak sensors tend to complain first when theres some sort of load or drain on the car. It was the same for the 5th gen and for other GM cars as well. The 5th gen also could pop up a warning if the car was started while the engine was still very hot. I triggered it once when pulling to the shoulder of the road on a hot day to mess with my GPS, and since I cranked the engine without waiting too long, I got a warning. Not sure if the 6th gen is prone to this too.

Thanks for the replies. I just had shoulder surgery yesterday,so it will likely be a day or 2 before I feel like looking.
