XM Radio Channels
Does anyone know if it's possible to get the higher XM channels? Specifically, I tried tuning to 301 (Road Trip Radio) but the radio only seems to go up to 200-something. I've got friends who are able to tune to the 300-range without issue (although they drive different cars). Is this something XM can fix by sending a refresh signal, or are our radios just not capable?
Thanks!

XM radio channels........
Hey Brandon.......when you go to the XM website you will see that there are several different packages you can choose from. They are different prices and they have different station choices. The more you pay the more channels and specific channels are available to you. I currently have XM radio in my Nissan Murano (I have a 2LT Nightfall Grey with Kalahari ordered) and get all the way up into the three hundreds. But I see that there are basic packages available that don't have all the channels I get. I'm guessing this is a XM promo that just offers a limited amount of channels. When or if you decide to keep XM then you could pick a package that has the channels you like.

Looks like we ordered similar cars..........I still have 8-12 weeks left of waiting since I just ordered my car Thursday. But it's fun reading all the different threads in the forum. Helps me pass the time while I wait. I am learning a lot too.

Just got off the phone with SiriusXM, they told me that the radios that come in the Camaros don't support the higher channels-- that kind of sucks. She explained that there are two types of radios, Sirius radios and XM radios (I guess this is a remnant from before the companies merged). Apparently the Sirius radios get different channels than the XM radios, namely the high channels past 236-- and we have the XM.
Kind of disappointed.

Nice! You'll love it. I was undecided between the SS and the LT but ended up going with the 2LT since it will be my daily driver-- while not quite as much power as the SS I definitely don't regret it. I'm not a track guy anyway so would rarely be able to utilize all those horses, and the 2LT has plenty of get-up-and-go to get me around slow drivers and such anyway.

Confirmed here: https://www.siriusxm.com/channellineup/
If you set the dropdown box at the very top to "XM", you'll see that we don't get the 300-range (Online only). But if you change to "SiriusXM" for the radio type they get the 300s.
