Should i pull the trigger? Good or bad deal?

So I wasn't intending on buying a SS, but I got offered a deal that i think is good. Please tell me if you think it is a good deal or not. I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE YOU TAKING THE TIME TO LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK.
They want me to pull the trigger tomorrow morning, which i am ready to do, so if you can help me quickly id really appreciate it.

This is the car and it's specs

http://www.chevrolet.com/all-vehicle...Selected=false

MSRP Standard Vehicle Price $41,300.00
INSTALLED OPTIONS TOTAL $5,375.00
Magnetic ride control $1,695.00
Black $0.00
Jet Black, Front leather seating surfaces $0.00
Audio system, Chevrolet MyLink Radio with Navigation and 8" diagonal color touch-screen, AM/FM stereo with seek-and-scan and digital clock $495.00
Exhaust, dual-mode, performance $895.00
LPO, Black front and rear bowtie emblems $145.00
LPO, Black SS wheel center caps $150.00
LPO, 20" (50.8 cm) 5-spoke gloss Black wheels with Red outline stripe $1,995.00
Destination Freight Charge $995.00
TOTAL MSRP $47,670.00
PRICE* $47,670*

I got them to agree to 48,000 OTD, all fees, finance charges, taxes etc...OTD
They also got me 1.9% APR which i think is pretty good.

Also: they are giving me a pretty good deal on my trade in, I think
2014 camaro v6, manual, no options, 38000 miles, 2accidents (both reported to car fax) and they are giving me 14k.

Taxes, fees and everything ..considering that you are in California.. is between 3500-4000.. I believe.. given that he is still charging you around $330 above MSRP for OTD.. I think some of the fees move is recovered in that ..like the $80 doc fees... what remains is basically your taxes and registration.. again a part of it is recovered in the $250 your paying extra... so basically you are saving on amount equal to taxes.. I would say its would have been a great 2 months back.. but right now.. I would have to say something around $46.5k - $47k OTD will be better.. at least you can try..

FYI your link returns nothing ...at least for me..

This is kind of difficult to tell as we don't know your tax rate, any hidden fees, the term of your loan for the 1.9 financing, etc.

What is your price before TTL? What is the total amount of TTL? (check for advertising fees or any other BS fees they come up with) Does the price include things like private offer or any other incentives? A think a little more info in needed. And your link is no longer working.

Not sure about the trade deal, but as far as the new car it seems like a good deal to me. 1.9% = good, 48k OTD = good (around 44k cost + approximately 4K taxes/fees for where I am). If it was 90% of the options or more of what I want in my ideal world then I'd probably pull the trigger.

I am not sure how bad the accidents were on your car but it sounds like they may be low balling your trade in. Your 2014 should be more in the 16k range for trade in. I just saw a 2011 2SS with 94000 miles go through the auction and it still brought $15,700 wholesale. I would negotiate for more on the trade, which in most states helps lower the sales tax on the new car. Also, what is the loan term?

They sure are proud of those redline wheels, aren't they? :-) You will never get any of that price premium for black wheels with a red stripe back on resale. I would tell them to take those off and give you the other $200 black wheels, save $2k, and then tell them to give you $2k more on your trade. There is $4k right there.

Right, there's no extra "packages" to pick on the 2SS. I agree with the wheels comment above. Get them to take those off and you will save. Cheaper to buy some later.

Go back to KBB and click on "instant cash offer" that's the number that is backed by real $$ and if that offer is higher than what the dealer is offering show them the print out.

Otherwise it will be hard to get much more than that for a trade in.

Ok, I think I checked it as an LT, not an LS. For reference this is what they are selling for at the auction around the country. This is wholesale, so 14-15k sounds like what it is worth.

I think that is a great deal. Few hundred above MSRP, out the door, pull that trigger and drive that baby home!
