My 562rwhp ProCharged 2016 2SS

So about 5 weeks ago I broke the news that I had dropped off my car to have ProCharger's new Camaro kit installed. There were some things I misled you guys about and I want to clarify some points.

First, I flat out told you all that my kit was being installed by a local dealer for ProCharger. That was sort of true, but not quite. My car was the first customer test car for ProCharger. They had purchased their own auto 2SS (the yellow one) and I had contacted them back in October about working with my car. ProCharger is literally a 3 mile drive from my house so it was a win-win for both of us.

So ProCharger is local, but they are not a dealer themselves. They didn't want me posting that they were the ones installing the kit until the kit had been installed and confirmed for production. ProCharger gets tons of phone calls each week from customers wanting them to install the kit at their facility. ProCharger does not and will not do installs for the average customer and they were trying to avoid being inundated with phone calls and emails when they would simply refer the customer to a dealer such as the awesome guys at JDP Motorsports or locally House of Boost.

With that said, I'm loving the added power from the kit. The low end gains that it delivers are out of this world and I can't wait to see what some additional tuning and some other modifications to my engine reveal.

I got the black powder coated head unit and brackets with the quiet gear set and I'm in love with this kit.

I've attached the brochure that will be coming out soon. The Hyper Blue Metallic car is mine. It's pretty rad that they are using my car in their marketing material now, but I'm sure you can understand.

I don't have my final dyno sheets yet, but as soon as my guy from ProCharger gets back from vacation, they will be posted. I will also post some video soon that I will take with my GoPro so you can hear the whine from the blower kit.

ProCharger is a solid company and all of their design and manufacturing takes place here in the United States (actually in Kansas of all places). They're a good bunch of guys with a great product. I hope that if any of you purchase this kit you will love it as much as I do.

Did you go with the stage 1 or II intercooler? I am sure there is a big smile on your face every time you press the gas pedal.

That's awesome. I can't wait to see the dyno numbers! Is anyone with the Vette having an issues at the stock 7psi or is it pretty reliable?

Also, why is the tuner kit cheaper than the regular kit? What's the difference?

From all I know it is reliable. One of the guys over there has a '14 Stingray with the Vette kit and from what I hear there have been no major issues.

Thanks. Also I added another question afterwards that you probably didn't see since you answered so fast.

The tuner kit has no perprogramed hand held, you must get a shop to tune it and you will need to by your on hand held. It is a sct hand held with a regular kit. The only thing I don't know is if the regular kit can then be tuned. I assume it can as the sct itself can hold 10 tunes.

Ok thanks. That makes sense. The regular kit plus the stage II intercooler seems like a slick way to go.

The tuner is not an SCT. Instead it is a Diablo inTune i2.

The car looks SICK with that intercooler peeking out. I'm sure you are loving it! We appreciate the endorsement, very much! Let us know if we can ever lend a helping hand. We can't WAIT to install one of these. (cough cough HINT HINT, @ ProCharger )

All the best,

Jared Royce
