Exhaust tips - cleaning/polishing

I bought this kit a couple of weeks ago, got it at Walmart for about $25, but now they have it on rollback for around $17! Awesome kit and works great with my new Makita 18V cordless drill. Kit comes with metal polish, pad cleaner, and the actual polishing pad that attaches intk the chuck of the drill. Works awesome and fits nicely in the quad tips on the NPP. Highly recommended and cleaned and polished my tips real nice!

Agreed! Anything drill powered does a great job, the hand cannot move at 800 rpm. I use a mothers power cone and Borla exhaust polish.

I couldn't believe how clean and polished the tips were...look awesome and are staying real clean! Plan on doing it about once a month or so.

It's not about the product you use, it's about the tools and procedure. Metal needs to be buffed/polished with the machine because it's the rotational speed that gives you the mirror finish. All the waddings and all of the metal polishes work perfectly good by hand, but if you want to move to the next level up , put something on the end of your drill like the instruments above. That's how you get mirror shine.
