Horsepower specifications and Npp
I was browsing the Chevy.com site and checking out the Corvette spec pages and it lists the HP @ 455, but also lists 460 (with performance exhaust). (see link below).
When I look at the Camaro specs for the LT1 it shows the same 455 HP, but does not include an additional HP listing for the perf exhaust like the Corvette page does. Should we expect that the Camaro with the Npp exhaust will see the same 5HP gain? Wonder why they don't list it separately like the Corvette page? Maybe this explains some of the dyno reports that have been performed on the new Camaro recently? http://www.chevrolet.com/corvette-st...ecs/trims.html

No performance gains from the NPP. There is a specific "performance exhaust" that is separate from NPP and has not released yet. That one might net you a small gain, but who knows.

Axle back exhausts gain very little despite claims by the aftermarket manufacturers. But, it is an oddity that Chevrolet claims a 5hp gain on the Corvette and none on the Camaro. I wonder if the exhaust mechanism is the same on both...doubt it.
