Anyone heard of Modesta Glass coating?

Been looking around South Florida for a good ceramic coating and seen this company with Modesta, I see the prices are up there but believe it may be worth it. Judging by the you tube videos this stuff looks great and keeps that hard ceramic coating on it. What are your thoughts?

Modesta seems pretty expensive, looking at the Pinpoint Precision here in Fort Lauderdale, not sure if I would do that or the Gyeon/Kamikaze. Either way, with the Hyper Blue coming my way, I want that thing to shine down here and get protected. Still searching around tho.

so how much? this should not be more than 1000-1200.....and whats the procedure: how many stages of polish will he use?....you need to tear apart the procedures to figure out if it's a good deal...

They have different levels I guess, I provided the link in the first post. Looks like different packages from 750 for paint correction to 2500.

Price looks pretty high to me. 1300.00 looks like it doesn't include polishing. One step polish and taking wheels off and cleaning brings it up to 2500.00. Then all the asterisks by everything. I would say they are going to hit you with at least 3K. That's pretty high. I don't know that market...but that sounds high for any market to me.

Too much, a coating should be 1000-1500 and should include polishing.

I have experience with, Blackfire crystal coat, Gtechniq, and the Kamikaze line. For the at home user the Kamikaze is by far the easiest to use. Even no experience its really that easy to perform if you follow the direcions its foolproof. Keep in mind coated cars should be maintained with products designed specific for coatings. I will add some pictures later today

Reading their website, I was reminded of the expensive "audiophile" components that appeal to the super rich and super dumb.

This place appears to cater to the well to do car owner who wants (yes, actually wants) to pay more for "quality". Compare and contrast:

Once you have Modesta installed, you won’t have to wax your car for a minimum of 10 years!

We would like to see the vehicles back for maintenance every 6 months from the time of application.
I'll stick with consumer stuff and keep my money in my pocket.

I had thought about a ceramic coating, or at least having someone doing it. Not worth the $1000 +. Follow Glen's advice and his docs, awesome while being a helluva a lot cheaper and easier!
