Space is better in some critical ways than the 5th gen. We love it.
The stronger A/T trans is going to be a really big deal. With all the gears and fast shifts, no stall converter needed and it's always in the engines peak power band. Needs way stickier tires though.

Great news!! Thank you for posting it.

Anyway you can start a thread showing some of the progress in the same way you guys did for the 5th Gen Camaro?

Good news. I decided with A8 this time over my last Camaro as an M6.

Looking to go right to FI on this one. I did a Maggy last time after other parts. Looking at Centry or TT, so I'm looking forward to the upcoming releases of various options.

In the past we were HUGE fans of the M6 because out of the box it would handle almost twice the power of the A6. The natural match for our turbo kits that make gobs of power right out of the box. Even our smallest turbos could make 800+whp on stock cam, so M/T was a super easy way to start. On this new car it seems like the A8 is going to be just the ticket to make almost everyone happy. Super wide span of ratios and lots of gears in-between, who couldn't love that. And drag guys who race on a glue strip, just swap in the M/T 3.73 rear and no stall would be needed for good 60ft's.

In a week or so we will make a new thread with pics and results. The baseline dyno on this car was 395whp 413wtq.

Cool. Thank you for the follow-up. Mine is a M6 and it is a daily driver. No drag racing. No road racing. I just want the power because I want to know I have it .

Should I reconsider the TT application then?

No, TT is the most efficient way to make a bunch more power. It's just going to be more like the Camaro5's where it's really hard to drag race with a manual. For fast street car fun, manual's have always been the engaged drivers choice.

Excellent!! Thank you, sir. Exactly the reason I got my two Camaros, the 2012 SS and the 2016 SS, with manual transmissions.

I can't wait for the updates!!

I'm curious to see what all would come in the kits, what modifications are required, fitment, ground clearance, turbo timing for cool down, etc. Definitely looking in to FI options.. Just not sure which one yet.
